The challenge
Older people living alone, especially with dementia, often find phones and tablets confusing. Their families want to stay close without adding to that confusion. Many live far away and struggle to be part of their everyday lives.
The idea
A ready-to-use tablet that does a few things simply: photos, messages, music and gentle reminders, all sent by the family from an app on their own phones.
The outcome
We built every part of it: the tablet experience, the Nellie Care family app, the website and subscriptions. It hasn't launched publicly, but it gave the company its name and its idea: connecting people and their memories, all in one place.
